Songs of Labour - Dances of Death

Paper cut outs, 22 x 33 cm During the lockdown of the Corona crisis the Medieval tradition of the murals of "Dance Macabre" or "Totentanz" came to my mind again. This tradition of depicting skeletons inviting people with various professions for a dance fitted into my recent research about labor relationships, reminding us of our own vulnerability, despite our status or profession.
